  1. Western Australia had wonderful talent in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.. The landscape was full of incredible match up Casey, Tognolini, Luttrell’s, Begley, Grant, Robinson, Hamburg, Culley and Hlawaty, Leiba, Pattens, Poposki, Hargreaves… I could go on. Loved watching state league and playing tournaments during that era.

  2. Love seeing these old names again. State League and the tournament circuit created personalities that people around WA tennis actually knew and followed. It would be fantastic if Court Talk continued publishing more results, rankings, photographs and newspaper stories from this era.

  3. This is exactly the sort of history that needs to be preserved. How about doing a year by year series from the 1970s through to the 1990s identifying the leading men and women, State League champions and major tournament winners? There would be some wonderful stories to rediscover
